Owens Thoughts

"Keep up the good work everyone. 40 YEARS AGO, as the RAE's Flight Safety Officer, I well remember attending meetings in the village about the need for a bypass. The concern then was that Fire Engines from the Airfield would face significant delays getting to an aircraft crash on Llandanwg or Harlech beaches, especially in the Summer. The bottleneck of the narrow bridge and the congestion it caused would delay, even sometimes prevent them getting round the corner, over the bridge and to any crash site in time to do anything to help. It is disgraceful, unacceptable and totally incomprehensible that this issue has still not been resolved. Your evidence about the road safety hazards created by the increasing traffic is irrefutable, even by the brainless bureaucrats in South Wales, who I am sure think that North Wales is Foreign Country THAT THEY NEED NOT BOTHER ABOUT!!!!!"
